Auburn Hills, Mich. â?? In addition to marking the return of the "Great American Car" when it was first introduced, and earning the distinction of being the most-awarded new car in automotive history*, the Chrysler 300 also proved to be a canvas for owners to express their passion and style through customization.

To capture and share this creativity, the Chrysler brand encouraged owners to "Spin it Your Way" by creating and uploading a short video to the Chrysler 300 YouTube channel. Each video showed how owners brought out their individuality by customizing their Chrysler 300.

The public voted for their favorite video and Lisa Marie Varon of Louisville, Ky., was named the "Spin it Your Way" contest winner, earning a trip for two to Los Angeles to see her customized Chrysler 300 displayed at the Los Angeles International Auto Show in November 2008. Varon's video shows the transformation of her 2006 Chrysler 300C into her fun and aggressive "Black Widow." The vehicle is customized with 24-inch rims, air suspension, indoor/outdoor lighting kits, 7-inch visor and headrest video screens, Lambeau doors and a whole lot more.

"We have found from our owners like Lisa that the Chrysler 300 is not just a sedan, it's a passion, an expression of emotion captured in bold design that empowers and engages them to show their individuality," said Ralph Gilles, Vice President â?? Jeep® Truck and Advance Interior Design, Chrysler LLC and lead designer of the 300. "â??Spin it Your Way' was an interactive opportunity for owners to show how they put their own signature on the Chrysler 300 and to share their creativity with a wide audience."

More than 317,000 people visited the Chrysler 300 channel where they watched the owner-testimonial videos nearly 1.7 million times and voted on the top 25 entries from passionate Chrysler 300 owners nationwide.

About Contest

Chrysler launched the "Spin it Your Way" contest on Jan. 1 at www.youtube.com/chrysler300. Consumers were encouraged to upload videos of their customized Chrysler 300 by Feb. 14 --not exceeding 2 minutes in length â?? and provide information including the make, model and year of the vehicle plus an explanation of how their vehicle was customized. The YouTube community voted for their favorite video from Feb.15-March 6. Public online voting plus scoring by Chrysler judges â?? based on the criteria of originality/creativity, feasibility/functionality and the entrant's demonstration of passion captured in their customized vehicle â?? determined the grand prize winner.

Smart Shopping Tip:

â??Regiftingâ?? is becoming a very popular holiday tradition. This is when you wrap up an old gift you donâ??t want anymore and â??regiftâ?? it to someone else who does. Itâ??s really becoming trendy at holiday parties! Itâ??s a great way to recycle and save some money at the same time, which is especially important around the holidays.

Local car dealer, Patrick Smorra from Napa Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Volvo Kia, is capitalizing on the growing holiday trend. He/she has created the Ultimate Regift Exchange Sale, and itâ??s going on now until Christmas Eve.

â??Regifting is big in my family. We all love to save money and recycle old gifts. So Iâ??ve decided to help my customers â??regiftâ?? their old car. Itâ??s a fun way to get in on the holiday spirit and drive a nicer, newer car at the same time!â?? explained Patrick Smorra.

Hereâ??s how it works:

Bring in your current car (you know, the one youâ??re tired of driving, the one with the squeaky brakes, the one thatâ??s lost its new car smell, the one you can't stand driving anymore) and Napa Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Volvo Kia will help you regift that old car to someone else who will love it, so you can start driving a nicer, newer car today!

No More Misfit Cars

The secret to regifting your old car is Napa Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Volvo Kia's For The People® Vehicle Refinance System. The advisors at Napa Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Volvo Kia can help you get rid of your current lease or loan, even if you have payments remaining, even if you owe more than itâ??s worth.

â??The holiday season is a great time to upgrade your car because dealers are trying to end their year with a bang,â?? says marketing consultant Jimmy Vee. â??Napa Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Volvo Kia's regifting promotion is one of the best ideas I've seen in years. I love it because it's fun, festive and really helps people get what they want for the holidays. Who doesn't want to drive a nicer, newer car for Christmas?â??

This promotion doesn't limit you if you have a lease or loan that isn't paid off.   Patrick Smorra will help you get out of the old car you hate and into a nicer, newer car in time for the holidays. Their For The People® Vehicle Refinance System can work for you even if you still owe thousands on your current lease or loan. Some people may say it's the best gift of the season.

Regifting For Customer With Good Credit Or Bad

Patrick Smorra told us what he/she likes most about this innovative holiday promotion:

â??The best part about this system is that itâ??s designed to help all types of people. Parents who drive a minivan and have excellent credit, this is perfect for you. Young people who are just getting started and havenâ??t built up a strong credit profile, we can help you too. People who have suffered from mistakes in the past like unpaid bills or late payments, or even had to deal with a short sale, we want to help you too.

â??Our For The People® Credit Approval Processâ?? matches the buyer with the bank thatâ??s most likely to approve your loan. Itâ??s a fast and easy process that we work every day to perfect. Our goal is 100% approval!

â??Don't despair if you've struggled in the past. We are here to help. You won't get coal in your stocking from us. We're stuffing stockings with the keys to a nicer, newer car.â??

Regifting Feels Good

Give your old car to someone else and make room for something nicer. Regifting is not only good for you; it's good for the people who receive your old car too. There are thousands of people out there looking for quality used cars. Your old car may be just what theyâ??re dreaming of this holiday season.

Napa Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Volvo Kiaâ??s For The People® Vehicle Refinance System can help you stop driving a car you hate, even if you owe more than itâ??s worth, even if you still have payments on your lease or loan.

It doesnâ??t matter whether you owe $2,000 or $4,000 more than your car is worth right now.

Short used car inventory supply has made the demand for used cars, like yours, higher than normal. Increasing demand means increasing value, so right now may be the best time to trade-in for a nicer, newer car.

So â??regiftâ?? it! And put a nicer, newer car under your tree.

â??I believe everyone deserves to drive a nicer, newer car and that no one should drive a car they hate. It's my mission in life to help people drive something they love,â?? explains Patrick Smorra. â??It's the holidays. Treat yourself and help someone else at the same time. My Ultimate Regift Exchange Sale can help you do it.â??

The Regifting Opportunity Will Not Last

The Ultimate Regift Exchange Sale is only going on until Christmas Eve or until the regifting fund runs dry. Smorra told us that he can only do so many of these regifting deals. Holiday shopping is expensive and so is regifting all these cars. You'll need to act quickly to get in on this special, limited time holiday promotion.

To reserve your nicer, newer car and regift your old car even if youâ??re still making payments contact Napa Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Volvo Kia at (707) 224-3166 or visit 333 Soscol Ave in Napa.

Chrysler Posts $212 Million Profit

Chrysler is moving closer to its first full-year profit since 2005 as customers buy more of its cars and trucks at higher prices.

It's another sign that the once-troubled carmaker is turning around. Chrysler was the most-improved brand in a recent reliability survey from Consumer Reports, moving up from the bottom of the list because of new and better products. It's also reached a new labor agreement that limits its costs. And it's raising its full-year profit forecast.

The company, now run by Italy's Fiat SpA, said its fortunes have improved because of rising demand for its new or revamped Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram cars and trucks.

The Auburn Hills, Mich.-based company reported Thursday that its net income totaled $212 million for the third quarter, compared with a year-earlier loss. It was only the second time that Chrysler has turned a quarterly profit since 2006. Vehicle sales worldwide rose 24 percent, and revenue climbed 19 percent to $13.1 billion.
